The process

How it works

Three simple steps from your memories to a finished piece — and my full attention the whole way, because I take just 2 commissions a month.

1 · Choose a package

Check which months are open, pick your slot, and check out securely.

2 · Share your memories

Answer gentle prompts for 30–50 moments — people, places, and the small details that matter.

3 · Receive your artwork

I hand-draw your story, print it A3, and post it to you — a finished, personal keepsake to treasure.

What to expect

Booking your month

Commissions are booked by the month, not the day — each piece takes weeks of drawing. The commission page shows which months are open. I need at least 2 weeks’ notice to start, and ideally 4.

Sharing your memories

Once your month is booked, you’ll receive a private questionnaire with gentle prompts for 30–50 moments — the people, places, jokes, songs, and small details that make your story yours. Take your time; the richer the detail, the richer the drawing.

The drawing

I weave your memories into a single hand-drawn ink composition. You’ll see the piece and have one round of revisions before it’s finalised.

Delivery

Your finished piece is printed A3 on fine-art paper, unframed, and posted to you anywhere in New Zealand at no extra cost. I post overseas too — a flat NZ$45 toward postage, added at checkout, wherever in the world you are. Any customs or duty charged at your end is set by your country, not by me. A different size is something I arrange separately — just ask.
